Seattle tabbed world’s 18th-most dynamic city
Jones Lang LaSalle created a "City Momentum Index" to rank the world’s most "dynamic" cities.
Based on its strong short term socio-economic and commercial real estate momentum, Seattle has been ranked No. 18 in a list of the world’s most dynamic cities.
The list was created by commercial real estate company Jones Lang LaSalle, which used a "City Momentum Index" (CMI) for its rankings that listed San Francisco No. 1 in the world, followed by London and Dubai.
"The true foundation of highly dynamic cities emerges from such factors as speed of innovation and creation of cutting-edge businesses along with new building construction, property price movement and investment in real estate from cross-border investors and corporations," saidJeremy Kelly, director of global research for Jones Lang LaSalle, in a statement.
Seattle was cited because it "took early advantage of technology trends and provide(s) fertile environments for innovation," according to Jones Lang LaSalle.
