Seattle apartment rents keep rising


The firm said
vacancies fell even though developers opened more than 7,000 units in the past 12 months in King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties.Seattle-based apartment research firm Dupree + Scott Apartment Advisors Inc. reports that apartment rents will rise almost 3 percent between September and March, which is on top of the 8.3 percent rents have increased in the city of Seattle in the past year.

What are you going to pay for rent? If you plan on renting a newer (built in the past six years) apartment in Seattle, the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment is $1,802 a month.
