Seattle housing market showed life in April | Puget Sound Business Journal

The Seattle residential real estate market came to life slightly in April, with home prices rising 1.6 percent over March prices, according to a new study.

The Standard & Poor’s/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices reported only Washington, D.C. (3 percent), and San Francisco (1.7 percent) had higher increases than Seattle during that time. Nationally, in the nation’s 20 largest markets, home prices rose 0.8 percent from March to April.
